Caregiver Rising Star Program
LCA Certified members can gain exclusive access to entry-level live-in care positions through our Sponsors.
The Rising Star program is designed to help experienced caregivers build their "live-in caregiver" resume, so that they can climb the professional ladder until they can reach the top tier of private pay live-in positions.
The program is also a means to gain real-life experience as a live-in carer, and to discover if the financial benefits are worth the corresponding sacrifices of "living at work."
Program Requirements.
Minimum requirements to be considered for the Rising Star program:

LCA Member in good standing.

LCA Certified. Have taken and passed all six modules of the LCA Career Development Course, and passed the final exam.

Currently residing in and legal to work in the US for any employer.

Willing and able to do a travel live-in position (reside away from where you live) for months at a time.

Have a minimum of 2 years of verifiable, paid caregiving experience. Can be from hourly shifts with a home care agency, assisted living, care facility or private (as long as it was paid work).

Have positive references from previous employers that paid you to provide care to them or one of their clients.

Have the technological means to do a Zoom video interview (laptop, computer, or smartphone)
Important Note: The above listed program requirements are the LCA requirements for members to join the Rising Star program. They are not the job requirements for any specific job. Each individual employer chooses their position's specific requirements, pay, duties, and schedule.
Entry Level $4,500-$6,900
Per Month
Typical earnings for entry level, traveling live-ins.
